Fred Olsen Lengthens Braemar

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines are to lengthen cruise ship Braemar which arrived in Hamburg on 13th May. A new mid section is to be inserted into the vessel to lengthen the cruise ship by 31.2 metres meaning additional accommodation for an extra 250 passengers therefore increasing the total passenger capacity to 977.

As well as additional accommodation there will be a new restaurant added, a swimming pool area with children’s pool and an observatory lounge offering some spectacular views. Many of the suites will also have balconies meaning 70 suites onboard will now have their very own balconies.

Fred Olsen Adds More Cruises

Fred Olsen Cruise Lines has today announced the addition of two brand new cruises due to take place onboard their newest cruise ship, Balmoral.

The first new cruise is a 12-night cruise around Britain which will depart from Dover on 7th October and will pay a visit to some of the best destinations in England, Ireland and Scotland. Destination ports will include Liverpool, Belfast, Newcastle and St Peter Port in Guernsey to name a few.

The second new cruise on offer is a 28 night cruise departing from Dover on 19th October calling at the Madeira and Tenerife before crossing the Atlantic and visiting a mixture of Caribbean islands including Barbados, St Lucia and Grenada.

Throughout both cruises you will find endless entertainment and activities as well as plenty of opportunities for relaxation to keep you busy throughout your stay.
