Cruising Style

Fred Olsen offers a traditional style of cruising whereby dress codes and dining structures are put into place.

During the daytime the dress code is casual whereby comfortable shoes are recommended, particularly for going ashore. During the daytime in the restaurants you are not permitted to wear any swimwear and to dress appropriately.

When it comes to evening dining the dress code is traditional where ladies will be smartly dressed for the more casual evenings and elegantly dressed in cocktail dresses for formal evenings. Men are to dress in shirt and tie on a casual night and black tie for a formal evening. There are also several themed nights during the cruise.

Dining onboard Fred Olsen offers a variety of options. Throughout your stay onboard your table number will remain the same, meaning that you’ll be sat at the same table with the same people. There are set dining times for the evening meals, with these being either 6:30pm or 8:30pm. A buffet is served for both breakfast and lunch with slightly more flexible dining times.

Accommodation onboard is offered in several grades and provides you will all of the essentials that you would expect including ample storage. Complimentary cabin service is provided between 10am and 10pm everyday providing guests will a personal service that caters for all tastes.

The style of cruising that Fred Olsen offers is traditional; meaning that your cruising experience offers an element of flexibility during the day, with evenings reasonably structured, particularly when it comes to dining.
